By using this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern StyleParlor relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
The term 'Styleparlor' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Styleparlor. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:
Trade only
Styleparlor is a trade only wholesaler. By ordering products from us you are confirming that you are a qualified Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician, and as such are competent in using the products sold on this website. We will not be held responsible for any injury or damages incurred by unqualified users of our products. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and to refuse to fulfil an order if we believe the person ordering is not a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using. Products on this site are not for sale to members of the general public.
To shop in-store, you'll need to prove you work/are qualified in the hair or beauty industry. Our stores will accept the following as proof:
- Course completion certificate
- Student enrolment letter, stating course dates
- Trade reference or buying card from another hair and beauty trade supplier

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. Colours of products may vary due to differences in camera/monitor settings; product packaging may be different to that shown.
Product availability
All products are subject to stock availability. If we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you we may, at our option, send a carefully selected substitute. If the substitute item has a lower price we will charge the lower price. We will not charge you more than your original order total without your permission. We will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.
Product reviews
You must be registered with Styleparlor online to write a review. We thank you for sharing your views with us and other customers, however all reviews will be monitored before they are posted to the site so please follow our guidelines, reviews:
- Must be relevant to the product in question and not be related to your experience in buying or having it delivered.
- Must not contain derogatory comments directed towards other reviewers.
- Must not contain content that might be considered unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, sexually gratuitous, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Must not make false statements, defame or impersonate others.
- Must not contain spamming, advertising, HTML or computer script.
- Must not contain personal information about anyone - including you - such as phone numbers, postal addresses or credit card numbers.
- Must not be submitted by any suppliers or manufacturers.
Pricing
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the site at any time. All orders for goods are subject to availability and StyleParlor reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.
All trade prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery and are quoted in Euros unless otherwise stated.
Special offers
Special offers are subject to availability and may change without notice. In-store offers may not be available online; online offers may not be available in-store. When a free or discounted product is issued as part of a special offer, this must be returned or full selling price paid if the qualifying product is returned as unwanted.
VAT Free Sale Terms and Conditions:
Our VAT Free equivalent sale means the total payable is the pre-VAT total of the merchandise. You will still be charged VAT (that's the law!) but the total amount you pay is as if we had not charged it. For example, if a product costs 10.00 +VAT the total you pay is 12.00. When we have a VAT Free Sale, we discount the price down to £8.33+VAT so the total you pay is 10.00, which is the same as the original price, but without the VAT.
VAT Free discount does not apply to the delivery charge and will not be applied to products already subject to a price reduction or discount. Training courses, salon furniture are excluded from the offer.
Payment
Payment in full is required to be made by any of the following credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard or Maestro through this website prior to dispatch of goods. You can also pay by BACS, please contact us to arrange payment by this method.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 - 2 working days however this can vary due to stock availability. Furniture and equipment orders are normally delivered within 2 - 4 weeks although some items may take 6 - 8 weeks. You will be advised of the estimated delivery date shortly after your order is placed. We use a courier ‘next working day’ delivery service for all orders dispatched by us to the 26 counties (some larger orders are sent direct from manufacturers).
Product restrictions
Please note we cannot send aerosols, flammable or hazardous items to overseas destinations. We’ll let you know if you’ve ordered any restricted items before we dispatch your order.
Your online account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.
Ownership of goods
We will retain ownership of the goods you order until we receive full payment for the order including the applicable delivery charges. Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Returns
Returning goods bought online is no problem, all we ask is that they’re returned within 28 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Please contact us at website@capitalhb.co.uk to inform us of your intention to return goods and whether you are looking for an exchange or a refund. Goods must be returned to the address shown at the bottom of this page (refunds cannot be processed in-store), please ensure a copy of your invoice/receipt accompanies the return. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost goods. If you’re unable to send goods back to us you can request that we arrange a collection, however the cost of this will be deducted from any refund due. The original delivery charge cannot be refunded. Furniture and equipment orders may be subject to additional conditions, please see below for details.
Due to hygiene regulations we cannot accept returns (subject to our discretion) of the following products if the packaging has been opened; Scissors, Razors, Cosmetics, Hair brushes, Hair extensions, Body jewellery, Piercing tools & Foot Spas. This list is not exhaustive and does not affect your statutory rights.
Furniture and equipment items
Most furniture and equipment items are built to order or custom built; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return:
Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed, we may in rare circumstances accept the cancellation or return of an order outside of this timescale however this is at our discretion and may be subject to a charge of up to 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge.
It will be clearly stated on the relevant product information page if the item you’re considering is subject to these conditions.
Faulty or wrongly delivered goods
We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect or damaged goods are received please inform us by email within 48 hours of delivery to stores@styleparlor.ie. We’ll arrange a collection of the goods (at our cost) and send out replacements as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you to send the goods back to us, let us know and send to the address at the bottom of this page (refunds cannot be processed in-store) using recorded delivery and we’ll reimburse you the cost of this.
General
This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. All trademarks reproduced in this website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
Returns Policy
Unwanted goods

Force majeure
Styleparlor shall be entitled to cancel or delay delivery of orders if it is delayed, hindered or prevented from delivery through circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) industrial action, accident, fire, act of god or failure to deliver by suppliers or couriers.
